Take The Quiz:
Camel Milk - Protects Collagen, penetrates deep into the skin.
Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil - When applied topically, the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agents in avocado oil help keep the skin smooth, strong, and elastic. It also calms itchy skin, provides deep hydration, aids in healing chapped skin, and shields against sun damage.
Cera Alba (Beeswax) -hydrates, conditions, soothes, and calms the skin. It exfoliates, repairs damage, promotes the skin's regeneration, diminishes the appearance of the signs of aging, soothes itchiness and irritation.
Cocoa Butter - high in fatty acids, which is why it's often touted for its ability to hydrate and nourish the skin and improve elasticity. The fat in cocoa butter forms a protective barrier over skin to hold in moisture. Cocoa butter is also rich in natural plant compounds called phytochemicals.
Fermented Cabbage Liquor - Full of Antioxidants. Sauerkraut is rich in the antioxidant vitamins C and E. It contains the plant compound kaempferol. Kaempferol can protect against oxidative damage by removing free radicals, which can cause inflammation. The Sulfur in cabbage helps form keratin (protein) compounds required for healthy hair, nails, and skin. Cabbage juice is frequently used topically to improve complexion. The potassium in cabbage cleanses the body and skin.
Orange Peel Oil - beneficial for fighting signs of aging like wrinkles and dark spots since its high vitamin C content meaning it helps promote the production of collagen. Used topically, Orange Oil is beneficial for maintaining the health, appearance, and texture of skin by promoting clarity, radiance, and smoothness, thereby reducing the signs of acne and other uncomfortable skin conditions.
Dry skin is a common complaint from Australian's due to our climate, as well as Perimenopause / menopause symptoms. In menopause, skin loses ability to hold water, so skin can get quite dry. Skin quickly loses collagen. Studies show that women’s skin loses about 30% of its collagen during the first five years of menopause. After that, the decline is more gradual. Another common symptom is easily irritated skin, rashes and other skin conditions can worsen during this phase in life's journey.
We can combat these symptoms and complaints with natural ingredients used and proven for centuries, backed by today's science.
Camel milk is packed with nourishing Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids and healing protective proteins. By using raw milk, we keep the protective proteins in tip-top condition to maximise their healing potential. The lactic acid in the milk is also very hydrating; it's a humectant that draws water too your skin and moisturises. Nourishing Body Mousse contains first press organic avocado oil. The fatty acids in avocado oil complement those in the camel milk, adding to its nourishing benefits.
Avocado oil is a great skincare ingredient, packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents that help your skin to stay smooth, strong and elastic. Thick and green-coloured avocado oil is actually a carrier oil, not an essential oil. Essential oils are highly concentrated lubricants distilled from the aromatic parts of a plant such as the root or leaves. Carrier oils are pressed from the seeds, nuts, or other fatty parts of the fruit and contain all of the goodness from the nut.
As a result, Nourishing Body Mousse is fantastic on damaged skin; if your skin is becoming crepey, Body Mousse will quickly restore texture and smoothness. The results can be amazing.
Try it on cracked heels, or elbows, dry flaky skin or even sunburn; the combination of camel milk's fatty acids and lactic acid are a game changer.
Your Body Mousse is thick and oily, so you don't need much; a little it goes a very long way. Most people find a pot lasts them about a month; we can provide bigger containers if you need a lot more!
We don't add water to the mousse during manufacture, so it can feel a little thick and slow to absorb. So it's best to use your Mousse on wet skin. The best way to apply is with a little moisture; either use it straight after a bath or shower without towelling dry, or wet your hand before massaging the mousse into your skin.
Use it all over, from your décolletage to your cracked heels and see the difference!
Nourishing Body Mousse is a thick, luxuriant mousse with a fluffy texture.
Unlike our premium Restorative creams, Nourishing Body Mousse is a hand made artisanal product. Made from raw, unpasteurised camel milk sourced from Camel Milk New South Wales, the cream only contains six natural ingredients. Every batch is slightly different; the milk structure changes seasonally depending on what the camels are eating and the first-press avocado oil varies seasonally too!
Your Nourishing Body Mouse comes packaged in a 100ml recycled plastic pot, which lasts most people around a month.
