Inside the tin, you'll find a solid cleanser made from a blend of camel milk, plant glycerin and essential oils, all uniquely formulated into a solid bar.
The bar is environmentally friendly, made from all natural ingredients. The tin is made from recycled aluminium, so good-bye to plastic bottles. It won't leak in your wash bag and is safe to take on an aircraft in your hand luggage.
It's so convenient to carry around; you can use it to freshen up or cleanse away makeup and sunscreen on the go.
Camel milk contains natural lactic acid, which gently peels away dead skin cells, leaving your skin feeling fresh and clean. Lactic acid is also a humectant, so it draws moisture to your skin, helping to moisturise rather than dry. Your skin will feel fresh, clean and moisturised after cleansing.
CameLife's unique process solidifies the camel milk and essential oils without adding alcohols or chemical preservatives. Unlike liquid cleansers and soaps, it does not dry your skin. You don't need to apply a moisturiser straight after cleansing, so your skin can breath naturally.
Dampen your face, then wet the bar & work a creamy lather in your hands. Alternatively, use a cleansing brush or sponge to build up the lather.
Apply the lather to your face using your fingers in a soft circular motion. Work the creamy cleanser into your skin until fully cleansed. Rinse & pat your skin dry.
For best results, keep the bar in it's tin with the lid on, which will prevent it from absorbing atmospheric water and will stop partners from using your precious cleanser when you shower! If you look after your cleanser, it should last you around three months.
Coconut oil is a great cleanser ingredient because it dissolves away oil deposits like sunscreens and makeup. It is also rich in fatty acids, which replenish and moisturise your skin. Coconut glycerine creates the creamy lather and enhances the humectant capacity of the camel milk.
Citronella Oil improves your skin's absorption of moisture. It is also a great anti-fungal and helps with wound healing.
Bergamot Oil is a natural cleanser and is particularly effective for unblocking pores. Bergamot is also a great natural anti-septic, which can help to reduce the effects of break outs.
Avocado Oil helps calm dry, itchy skin and heal chapped patches. It also gives the lather a rich, creamy and luxurious feel.
No; soaps are made using the saponification reaction which turns fats into glycerine and alcohol. Often much of the resultant glycerine is removed before the soap hardens to make other products, leaving an astringent product that dries the skin. Our cleanser is made using a proprietary process which blends plant glycerine extracted from coconuts with camel milk and oils. That way, we avoid the alcohols found in many cleansers and can add more glycerine to give a creamier, more moisturising lather.
]In a word, yes. In fact, it's fantastic on acne and acne damaged skin.
Acne is caused by the over production of skin cells that block pores, which then become infected and form spots. Most acne cleansers contain benzyl peroxide to oxidise away excess skin cells, but benzyl peroxide is very drying and can cause long term skin damage. The lactic acid on CameLife's Facial Cleansing Bar will also oxidise away dead skin cells, but it will do it in a much gentler way. Even better, it moisturises, so you don't get the dryness experienced with conventional acne cleansers. Pair with Restorative Serum and acne will be history.
Although it's designed as a cleanser, CameLife's Facial Cleansing Bar is truly multi-tasking. It's popular with tradies for cleansing off grime after a hard days work. We've got customers using the bar as a solid shampoo to treat psoriasis on their scalp and people using it to shave with. The lather is creamy and thick enough to give a close wet shave with none of the folliculitis associated with conventional shaving creams. We've even got a few customers using it as a beard wash!
